Introduction to Alpha Generation

Alpha Generation includes three innovative MetaTrader indicators to help you spot new trade opportunities and potential entry/exit points.

Technical Views

The Technical Views indicator is your trusted source for market direction and key price levels.
Key levels that guide your trades
Skip the heavy analysis and rely on expert insights to shape your trading decisions. Technical Analysis gives you an instant viewpoint on our preferred direction, complete with target levels. Discover our alternative scenario based on a pivot level where we present an alternative view with new target levels in the opposite direction.
Price Alerts: Stay informed when a target level is reached.
Adaptive Candlesticks

Top candlestick patterns

This powerful indicator scans for sixteen of our most reliable, time-tested candlestick patterns, automatically applied instantly to any chart.

Expert filtering for what matters most

We combine candlestick patterns with our unique quantitative and technical analysis expertise to highlight only the patterns that matter for decision making.
Adaptive Divergence Convergence (ADC)
ADC delivers faster, more timely signals for short-term trading and protects against sideways movements by adapting and lengthening during such periods.

Long & Short entry/exit signals

TC Economic Calendar lets you filter economic events of different countries, helping you anticipate and respond to news that could impact the markets.

Slow & Fast price indicators

The slow indicator uses a front-weighted moving average, while the fast indicator emulates variable length weighted moving average—shorter during trends and longer in sideways markets. These indicators can be used as other moving averages to offer slow signals by confirming the trend: look for upward slopes and the fast line above the slow line, or price crossing above these lines. These indicators act as the basis for other ADC components.

Slow & Fast Oscillators

ADC includes two compatible oscillators. For fast signals, watch for the fast oscillator to slope upward and above zero. For slow signals, look for the fast oscillator to be above the slow oscillator, or for the slow oscillator to slope upward while remaining below the fast oscillator and above the adaptive filter.

Raw & Smooth signal lines

For fast signals, watch for upward sloping lines with the ADC raw line above the ADC smooth line – this indicates a buying opportunity. For slow signals, both ADC raw and smooth should be above 0. Similar to MACD, the raw signal line represents the difference between slow and fast indicators (divided by slow), then smoothed with exponential averaging. In this case we find the smoothing length automatically, usually around 4 unlike MACD’s 9.

Long & Short entry/exit signals

The labels help you identify trading opportunities. Signals are based on the status of all ADC components including price lines, indicators and oscillators. Although these components share the same adaptive market data window, they operate independently, allowing us to make decisions based on weight of evidence.
